A Christian-Owned Holster Company: Why We Build

Armor Of God Tactical Supply Co. is a Christian-owned, family-run company in St. Johns, Florida. We handcraft custom Kydex holsters to order, and we exist for one reason above all: to glorify God, equip those who carry with gear they can trust, and build a brotherhood of men who lead their homes and communities with faith, integrity and courage.
I'm Tony Palacios, the founder. Here's why we build.
How it started
I shot a gun for the first time at 25, with my father-in-law. I was nervous, honestly a little embarrassed that I didn't know what I was doing. He told me to relax, concentrate and squeeze the trigger. I got on target at 100 yards, and from that moment I was hooked.
I spent the next year learning everything I could before buying my first pistol, then trained until I was ready for my concealed carry permit. That's when I learned what every new carrier learns: you need a real gun belt and a quality holster. I went through a lot of holsters. A few I liked, none I loved. When I added lights to my pistols, I had to buy another holster, and finding one that fit my setup without breaking the bank was frustrating.
So I started building my own. Through plenty of trial and error, I got them where I wanted them. My friends saw them and wanted their own. The rest is history.

When God put Armor Of God on my heart, I never set out to simply make holsters. I set out to build something that would honor Him, serve the people who carry, and stand for something far bigger than any one product. A holster protects what you carry. Faith protects who you are. We want everything bearing this name to point back to Him.
A family business, start to finish
Faith, family and freedom aren't just words on our banner. Armor Of God is truly a family-owned business, and we work together as a family to complete every order. My kids are right there with me at gun shows, greeting customers and representing AOG, and our family is part of every order that goes out the door.

What being Christian-owned means to us
- Integrity in the work. Each holster must be made to the highest quality possible. If I wouldn't wear it, I won't ship it until it's right.
- Humility. We don't have it all figured out, and we never want to stop learning. Every officer, veteran, instructor and everyday carrier we serve teaches us something, and we carry those lessons straight back to the bench.
- Treating customers like family. Every single order includes a handwritten note from us. Many of you have told us it meant as much as the holster.

Building strong men and families
In a broken world, we need strong men to raise our children, love our wives and speak with conviction. We bring men together to share the Lord's teachings and our own experiences, and to encourage each other to be the spiritual leaders of our homes. Our Watchman ambassador program is part of that: a community of men and women who stand for faith, preparedness and responsible ownership, and who hold each other accountable. Many people have never had access to firearms training, and many find it hard to learn. Protecting yourself and your family is a God-given right, and it comes with real responsibility. That's why we offer affordable, quality firearms training and work to help more people carry safely. Every guide we publish includes safety guidance, and we encourage everyone to train and to know their local laws.

In honor of Mel
None of this would be what it is without my aunt Mariel, “Mel.” She was AOG's greatest supporter: she called me with ideas, shared AOG with everyone she met, and reminded me every single day, no matter what success came, to give the glory to God. She went home to the Lord on December 1, 2024, after battling cancer with unmeasurable strength, love and faith. Her voice is still with me at every milestone. Read her story.
